Let’s make this holiday season the season of rewearing. Maybe you spent so much on holiday gifts that you forgot to save some money to dress yourself. Maybe you’re a college student like me, and just can’t wrap your head around breaking the bank over separate outfits for Christmas Eve, Hannukah, sorority semi formals, and New Year’s Eve parties. So, let’s take that sheer, shimmery shirt, that sparkly, sequin dress, or that shiny, sexy crop top from straight from family holiday dinner to NYE festivities.
Look 1: A Sheer Shirt
For a family friendly affair, opt for some winter whites, and layer this blue sequin blouse over a white button up. Pair it with white leather pants, a chunky loafer, and add in some sunny tones for an element of warmth. For a night out, pair the shirt with a monochromatic blue bralette, a micro mini skirt, and your favorite pair of dancing boots.

Look 2: A Mini Dress
Here, we’ll start with a mini dress, and let’s pair this green with some brown. Layer a sheer turtleneck underneath to keep things modest, and fold in some more of those earthy brown tones in your trench, boot, and bag. If you’re feeling bold, mix your prints, and add a plaid scarf. For NYE, let’s focus on accessories. We’ll go with gold tones, a strappy pump, and keep the sparkle going in the handbag.

Look 3: A Crop Top
If black is your go to, this one’s for you! This sequin crop top will be nice and cozy on Christmas Eve with a mock neck long sleeve underneath, and a cardigan over top. These tie-dye leather trousers and feather gloves are the perfect pop. To ring in the new year, pair the same top with a mini skirt, an oversized blazer, and a kitten heel. Some chunky jewelry makes the perfect finishing touch.
